Material tension

Contact lens material tension is important when handling the lenses. Before purchasing contact lenses, the user should be interested in the following properties:

● Resistance against bending (elasticity)
● Resistance against breaking (tension)
● Lens expiration date
● Strength of the lens you’re buying (you can find this out from tear strength)
