Bi weekly disposable contact
lenses, also called 2 weekly contact lenses, are intended to be worn
daily and replaced every 14 days. They are a suitable option for people
who may experience discomfort in the last weeks of wearing monthly contact
lenses. Some bi weekly lenses are approved by the manufacturer for extended wear. This
means, with your optician’s recommendation, you can wear them for up to 7
days and 6 nights without removing. Wearing bi-weekly contact lenses longer
than your optician’s guidelines is not recommended. If bi weekly lenses are
worn like this, they must then be discarded at the end of 7 days’ extended wear.
